OZEV (Office for Zero Emission Vehicles) is the government body that approves EV charger installers. Using an OZEV-approved installer like Nash Electrical ensures your installation meets the required safety standards and may be required for grant eligibility.
Most home EV charger installations are completed within a single day. The exact timescale depends on the location of your consumer unit and the cable run required.
We install a range of 7.4kW single-phase home chargers and can advise on the best unit for your vehicle and property. All chargers are smart-enabled with app control and load balancing where required.
Yes. EV chargers require a dedicated circuit from your consumer unit. We assess your existing installation as part of the survey to ensure it can support the additional load.
On completion you'll receive an Electrical Installation Certificate along with all relevant charger commissioning documentation. All notifiable work is registered with NAPIT under Part P of the Building Regulations.
